IWC has released a pair of Mk XVI watches for the Japanese market in the IWC reference 325516 and 325517. The difference between the two watches is that the reference 325516 is fitted with a black crocodile leather strap while the reference 325517 is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet.

The reference 325516 is a limited edition run of 200 pieces while the reference 325517 is limited to 150 pieces. Both watches share the specifications as the current Mk XVI, the difference being the dial and the hands. The dial and hands on these watches are based on the IWC Mk IX which was issued in the 1930s.
