fragment design has teamed up with Bamford to release three more custom Rolexes. They started with a standard Oyster Perpetual Explorer model and blacked out some of the features. Then colorful new paint was added to the watch face and second hand. There's three color variations (blue, green and purple).
Here's a new custom Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer from fragment design. It's been totally blacked out except for some custom blue detailing on the face. No word on price or availability, but there's probably not going to be very many.
Here's a video of the behind the scenes creation of those blinged out diamond encrusted watches. These watches definitely don't appeal to everyone, but it's still interesting to see how they are put together.
A new custom Rolex Submariner has shown up thanks to fragment design. This is a very limited edition release. It's designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara for their 10th Anniversary. No word yet on price or availability, but it won't be cheap for sure.
Hiroshi Fujiwara has designed a new fragment x Rolex collaboration Oyster Perpetual Air-King. There's not many details on this one, but the pink accents on shown in the photos might be enough for some. Look out for more updates on this one I guess.
Ivan has posted his latest mod over on the Horology Crazy blog. He disassembled a Kronos military watch and created his own custom one. There's lots of great photos of the process. He swapped out the movement, so it's a good chance to take a good look at all the little bits.
Black-Out Concept is a company founded by Fabrice Letellier that customizes
high-end watches. It seems that they're stealthed Rolex Submariner has been
picked up and promoted by rapper Kanye West. They will coat just about
anything in PVD or DLC for a price.
