Magrette will be releasing their new watch called the Regattare Bronze. The watch will feature a solid bronze case, made of CuSn8, alloying copper and pure tin. This makes the case extremely resistant to corrosion.

The other effect is that the solid bronze brushed case will patina rather quickly.  This will add depth of character to the case as well as giving it a truly vintage look when the antique aging takes full effect.

This is the Bamford Watch Department's take on the popular Tudor Heritage Chrono. They have taken this classic watch and made a few custom tweaks to the design. The major difference is the PVD Black coating that Bamford has applied on the standard Tudor Heritage Chrono.

Ivan has a couple posts over on the Horology Crazy blog showing how to modify Marathon divers. There's a JSAR conversion that involves swapping parts from the ISA 1198-103 and ETA 2824-2 movements. And the SAR mod involves removing the cyclops lens and changing out the date wheel. The whole process for each is laid out in an easy to follow to way. It's a great resource for anyone considering these modifications.

BLANCPAIN have released a special edition of the Fifty Fathoms for 2011. This follows the highly popular Fifty Fathoms ‘Tribute to Fifty Fathoms’ with its iconic No Radiation logo.

The new watch, the Fifty Fathoms 'Tribute to Fifty Fathoms Aqua Lung', comes with a number of changes over the current Fifty Fathoms in the details on its dial, bezel and strap. The watch simply bears the text 'Aqua Lung' like its predecessors at the 12 o’clock position. The other changes over the current Fifty Fathoms include new hands, different hour markers, the removal of the minute markers (first 15 minutes) on the bezel and a new strap. The new strap comes complete with circular holes, the way many original Aqua Lung's straps were typically designed back in the '60s.

There is not much more information on the watch at the moment. We will update this once more information is available.

Fwupow shot a great video review of the Invicta Coalition Forces GMT Model 0225. This watch features a round gunmetal titanium case and a Swiss quartz movement. It comes on a blue rubber strap that matches the dial. There's a unidirectional rotating bezel and an over-sized black crown with a knurled texture. It can be found online for less than $200 USD. Trintec Industries Inc was founded in 1984 as a manufacturer of unique aviation related gift and advertising products. Bell & Ross has announced a new BR MT-01 Music Time Concept watch. Basically, it's an iPod running a Bell & Ross application that fits in a holder on a B&R strap. The app allows you to customize the design of the watch dial. There's several different styles to choose from.
