Nixon watches has announced a new blue model. This one features a simple
three hand Japanese quartz movement and a molded silicone case. There's a
diamond on the face in the 6 o'clock position. It will retail for $170 USD,
and will be coming out in a couple days. More model in other colors will be
following this release each month.

The London watchmaker Mr. Jones has released two new special edition watches. Crispin Jones is the designer of these black and white models. Both feature a simple PVD coated design. They also come in a special MJW presentation box that includes an illustration by Nadine Faye-James. The New Decider is selling for $149 USD, and The Accurate is $127 USD.

A hidden message has been found inside President Abraham Lincoln's pocket watch. He had purchased this gold watch during the 1850s in Springfield, Ill. On the day the Civil War started, this watch was in the hands of a Washington D.C. watchmaker named Jonathan Dillon for repairs. Without the president knowing, on hearing news of the Civil War he etched inside the watch the date April 13, 1861, his name and a message about the war's first guns firing, the end of slavery and the good president.

Seiya-san has posted some news on the release of a new new Seiko Diver model SBBN017. This 300M Tuna will retail for around $1,070 USD. There's been some small design updates that differentiate this one from the SBBN007. It will be released in the end of April.

On the heels of the LG watch cell phone comes Hyundai's MB-91. It looks like at least a few different companies are going trying to pull this off. It's yet to be seen if this will lead to anything that appeals to watch collectors.
