At BaselWorld 2009 Tag Heuer has announced several new watch models. The
Monaco 24 concept watch is the one that stands out though. It features a
new tubular design and extreme shock-protected components. The black
PVD-coated case houses a TAG Heuer Calibre 36 movement. A new "composite
filter" material used in aerospace and auto racing is used to insulate it
from shock. There's also new Calibre 12, Gulf Calibre 12 and 1969 Original
models.

It seems that Seiko is going to be releasing three new models for the Japanese markets. The new model numbers are SBCZ011, SBCZ013 and SBCZ015. These are minor updates overall to the diver line. Look for these to be released at the end of April.

It seems inevitable that one day real atomic clocks will be small enough to place inside a watch. So instead of merely syncing up to a real atomic clock via wireless signal you can wear the most accurate clock in the world on your wrist.
